Course Objectives

· Show how ethical dilemmas can be addressed rationally and objectively.

· Provide tools for thinking about everyday ethical issues.

· Identify misconceptions that have led to ethical polarization and a “post-truth age.”

· Survey political philosophies and their relation to ethics.

· Suggest how different cultural perspectives can be understood in an ethical framework.
